Thai Massage in Midtown Toronto
Thai Massage is an ancient therapeutic practice that combines acupressure, deep stretching, and rhythmic movement to restore balance and energy flow throughout the body. Referred to as The Sacred Dance, or Yoga being done for you, this clothed, mat-based treatment leaves you feeling relaxed, mobile, and deeply restored.

What is Thai Massage
Originating from traditional Thai medicine, Thai massage is performed fully clothed on a padded mat on the floor. Instead of oil or lotion, the practitioner uses their hands, thumbs, forearms, elbows, knees, and even feet to apply pressure and guide your body through assisted stretches.
This dynamic bodywork:
Relieves muscular tension and joint restriction
Improves flexibility, circulation, and energy flow
Encourages deep relaxation and nervous system regulation
-
What to Expect
Please wear comfortable, flexible clothing (like yoga or workout gear, no shorts please).
Sessions take place on a floor mat—no massage table or oil involved.
I will guide your body through rhythmic stretches, harmonic movements, and apply targeted pressure, adapting the session to your flexibility and comfort level.
Clients often report feeling taller, lighter, and more grounded after a Thai massage.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do I need to be flexible to get a Thai massage?
A: Not at all. I have more than a decade of experience and have done extensive continuing education so that I have TONS of ‘tools in my toolbox’ . I can easily adjust the session to your range of motion and preference. No prior yoga experience is necessary.Q: Will it hurt?
A: Thai massage uses firm but mindful pressure. Some of the images and videos you see online can be really aggressive, that’s not my style in any of the modalities I practice.Q: How is it different from Swedish or therapeutic massage?
A: Thai massage is done clothed on a mat and involves more stretching, movement, and body mechanics—less passive than table-based treatments.
